Ms. Felicia Rush was born in Eureka, CA and raised in Orleans in the Six Rivers National Forrest before moving to Corning, CA at the age of 13 where she attended Corning Union High School, home of the Cardinals. Ms. Rush was the editor for her high school yearbook and participated in volleyball, basketball, softball and football cheerleading. As an active member in the Corning FFA she served as the Vice President and President, was a part of the chapter Parli-Pro team and raised hogs and rabbits as her SAE project. Ms. Rush also served as the Shasta Section FFA Secretary. After graduating high school in 2003, Rush attended Chico State University and majored in Agriculture Education and earned her Bachelors of Science in 2007, and then her teaching credential in 2008. Rush taught for three years in Salinas at Everett Alvarez High School before moving to Sonoma Valley High School in the fall of 2010. In her free time Ms. Rush enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with friends, family and dogs Misty & Thor.
